We recommend hair be roughly 1/4 inch (about 6–7 mm) long so the wax can grip each hair. If hair is slightly shorter or longer, your esthetician will trim appropriately to ensure a comfortable, effective treatment.

Sensation varies, but most clients describe brief, manageable discomfort that eases quickly. Our experienced technicians use fast technique and high-quality wax to minimize pain. If you’re nervous, ask about pre-wax tips or topical anesthetics and we’ll accommodate your comfort needs.

Most clients book every 4–6 weeks initially, then adjust to every 6–8 weeks as hair growth slows. Personalized schedules depend on your growth cycle and lifestyle; your esthetician will recommend timing based on visible regrowth and skin sensitivity.

Shaving between sessions is not recommended because it changes hair texture and can increase ingrown hairs. If you must, use a clean razor and gentle technique. For best results, wait for regrowth and consult your esthetician about trimming options instead.
