Most clients enjoy smooth results for 3–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth, skin type and care. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer. Maintain results with gentle exfoliation and moisturising between appointments.
Some discomfort is normal, but our trained technicians use fast, precise techniques and pre/post-care to reduce pain. Sensitivity varies; coarse hair feels more intense. Numbing options can be discussed during booking if required.
Allow hair to be about a quarter inch long for effective removal. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before and avoid moisturisers or heavy oils on the day. Wear loose clothing and arrive with clean, dry skin.
Waxing can sometimes trigger ingrown hairs, especially with curly or coarse hair. We minimise risk through correct technique, post-wax exfoliation advice and targeted aftercare products. If prone to ingrowns, ask about specialised treatments.
We recommend every 3–6 weeks depending on your natural regrowth and comfort. With consistent waxing intervals often lengthen as hair becomes finer. Your technician will help create a personalised schedule based on your results.
Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open wounds, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, or are on isotretinoin (Accutane) within recommended timeframes. Disclose medications and skin conditions during booking so we can advise or reschedule safely.
