Get answers to common questions about Chest.
Most clients describe a brief stinging or tugging sensation during chest waxing that eases quickly. Pain varies by sensitivity and hair thickness. Our technicians use techniques to minimize discomfort and offer post-care to soothe skin.
Chest waxing results usually last 3–6 weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, which can extend the time between appointments.
Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to remove dead skin, avoid sunburn and heavy moisturizers on the day, and ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long for optimal grip. Arrive with clean, dry skin.
Active sunburn, open wounds, severe acne, recent chemical peels, or certain skin conditions like psoriasis in the area may prevent waxing. Disclose medications or treatments so we can assess suitability.
Waxing can cause ingrown hairs for some. Prevent them by exfoliating regularly after the first 48 hours, moisturizing with non-comedogenic products, and booking routine waxes to promote even regrowth.
Wait 12–24 hours before hot showers, saunas, or intense exercise to reduce irritation and infection risk. Gentle showers are fine after a few hours; follow post-care instructions for best results.
