Get answers to common questions about Feet.
Wash and gently exfoliate your feet 24–48 hours before your appointment, avoid applying lotions or oils, and wear open-toed shoes. Inform your therapist of medications, skin conditions, or recent treatments to ensure safe, customized waxing.
Most clients describe waxing as a quick sting rather than prolonged pain. Sensitivity varies by person and area; regular waxing typically becomes less uncomfortable over time. We use skilled technique and soothing aftercare to minimize discomfort.
Feet waxing generally keeps you hair-free for about three to six weeks, depending on your growth cycle. With consistent waxing, regrowth becomes finer and sparser, often extending intervals between appointments.
If you have sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test and gentle products; individualized care reduces irritation. For diabetes, consult your physician first—some conditions require medical approval due to infection or healing risks.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, swimming pools, and heavy sweating for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable footwear, refrain from exfoliating immediately, then gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours and moisturize to prevent ingrown hairs and soothe skin.
We recommend hair be approximately 5–7 millimetres long so the wax can grip properly—typically two to three weeks of growth. If hair is too long we'll trim; if too short, allow a few more days to regrow.
