Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms.

Arrive with clean, dry underarms and avoid deodorant or heavy moisturizers. Hair should be about quarter-inch long for effective removal. Inform your therapist about medications, allergies, or recent treatments to ensure safe, comfortable waxing.

Results are immediate — skin is smooth right after the service. Regrowth timing varies by person, but most clients enjoy hair-free underarms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair cycle and care.

Waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth typically appears finer and sparser over time. Regular waxing can reduce bulk and slow growth compared with frequent shaving, which often makes stubble feel coarser.

Some sensitivity is normal, especially on first visits, but most clients find it tolerable. We use warm wax, quick technique, and soothing post-wax care to minimize pain and calm the skin immediately after treatment.

Schedule every three to six weeks based on how quickly your hair grows. Consistent waxing sessions yield finer, sparser regrowth and make treatments quicker and more comfortable over time.

Avoid shaving between waxing appointments, as shaving disrupts the hair growth cycle and can reduce waxing effectiveness. If necessary, let hair grow back to about quarter-inch before your next scheduled wax for best results.
